I started this writing back in 2018. I know that my profile states that I started in 2021, but if you do a bit of searching, you will see that I have writings that I made back then. I’ve done some reflecting on how far I’ve come on here. Yes, I did take a break from Medium for a few years, but that’s something that I will get into in a later article. When I was first starting here, I came here intending to share my works here. I still plan to. I’ve made my mind up on that
I do have days where it can get difficult to not compare myself to other writers on here. Though I would imagine that everyone at some point does that. Does that make me angry though? No, not at all. At some point, we all find our voice. The important thing is to keep writing. The more you write, the sooner you will find it. As much as I want to emulate other writer’s styles of writing, I know in the long run that I will have an easier time using my voice, rather than copying someone else.
You know what the funny thing is? Even to this day when I post things on here, I still have no idea what I’m doing. I’m posting things to see if it will work out or not. I tend to think of this as an experiment when it comes to writing. Seeing what works and what doesn’t. It’s a learning experience for me.
As far as when it comes to articles, I do my best to get to the point and not waste anybody’s time…
